As for the video, it seems to me that you are talking about the "amplitude" of the signal, not the "frequency spectrum".
I record at low amplitude (about -18db) in order to avoid "clipping", which is when the signal, or parts of it, reach a level above (0 db), which would significantly degrade the sound quality if it happens (distortion).
After the recording, I "normalize" the entire recording to (-4db).
Some songs might have slightly higher or lower amplitude than others, but I have not noticed sudden sharp drops in amplitude (in the same song) like what your video shows.
The only time I adjust individual entries in the recording is when I notice significant differences in amplitude from the rest of the recording, which does not happen very often.
I do not have a problem with (Idha3at El-Aghany". Yes, their amplitude is quite low, but that is not an issue because I can adjust the amplitude easily in the post processing of the recording (the normalization process).
I hope that they reconsider their direction if they really are relying on Adobe Flash for their new Internet site.
Flash has always been troublesome, and a bad security hole. I am glad it is going away at the end of this year.
I personally disable flash in any browser I use (although I mainly use Firefox, and would never use Google Chrome; my preference).
