The Paris Fat-el-maad is among the best versions I have listened to. Short but very satisfying.

Interesting to also listen to the reception given to members of the ensemble when they were introduced. Those who were applauded most were Sayyed Salem, the flute player and Mahmoud al Qasabgi on violin.

Sayyed Salem was a genius, such haunting sounds he produced with his ney!
