In addition to his theatre for grown ups, Shoushou had a theatre for kids in the afternoon.
He played the lead roles, and was accompanied but young actors and actresses. I do recall
- Marcelle Marina
- Amalia Abi-Saleh
- either Ahmad El-Zein or Ziad Makkouk
- and i think, Shafic Hassan.
but I was only 10 years old... memory does fade...
The plays were very interactive with the kid audience, and included many songs.
Everything stopped at the beginning of the civil war in Lebanon in 1975, when Shoushou passed away.
I have recently found on the www two of his songs fo kids, and they are uploaded here. Beutiful songs. Anyone who went to Shoushou's theatre remembers them...
