Was this the first concert she held after the death of the late President Nasser? I had read in the past that she gave a moving performance of Daret el Ayyam and she cried while singing. But beside this, I had a strange feeling when I heard this version, and I guess I felt sad because I felt for the first time how tired Umm Kulthum's voice was. This was probbaly one of her weakest career moments, and if it weren't for archiving, I wouldn't wanna even have this song among my collection.
